Colors and mice
Wearing a lot of black I really want to color up my wardrobe. It's so stupid to have the most beautiful colors in my head, but still running straight to black en grey tones in the shops, because it MAY PROBABLY hide some lack of figure (get real, as if that helps!). To anyone who dresses just like me, I would say: don't! Don't hide, get out and wear something beautiful.
Well, the knitting part is fun, but if I'll ever wear these . . . ?
This one is nice I think. Finished a week ago, but still my own mannequin is the only one that wears it. I even didn't try it on!
Just started this long cardigan mixed in bordeaux and bright red with a nice shaped waist. I like the pattern and the way these colors change by using them together.
These mice are just good as they are. They don't have to worry about what to wear today, bad hair days, going on a diet, or not so charming shiny T zones. The mice get as big as you use the type of yarn; the pattern is not mine, but here's the link: http://blog.fuzzymitten.com/2009/11/holiday-mice.html
In the original pattern the mice wear hats. These fellows without hats take a little time to create. Great to do something with little bits of yarn you otherwise maybe would trow away.
